Partner Code of Conduct
RMCVB's local partners must abide by our Partner Code of Conduct.
1. Provide clean and well-maintained facilities and equipment for the enjoyment
of their customers.
2. Provide visitors with exceptional customer service, information and other
products, services and attractions when requested and treat all other partners
of RMCVB courteously, ethically and professionally.
3. Handle all inquiries, requests, transactions, correspondence and complaints
promptly, courteously and fairly.
4. Exercise truth in all promotional materials concerning facilities, services
and amenities provided, and advise the public in a reasonable manner if and
when unable to provide the level of services or facilities advertised.
Promotional materials supplied to RMCVB must be appropriate for all audiences.
Refusal to display or publish a partner's promotional materials is at RMCVB's
sole discretion.
5. Provide customers with complete details on process, cancellation policies
and services at time of purchase and advise of changes in services, products or
costs if and when they occur.
6. During periods of full capacity, assist customers with finding other
suitable arrangements, ensure that they feel welcome and encourage them to
return at a future date.
7. Promote responsible and sustainable use of the Richmond Region's
environmental resource base when providing services and products to customers.
8. Abide by all applicable federal, state, city and county laws.
9. Ensure familiarity with RMCVB's attractions and the location of RMCVB's
operated visitor centers.
