Welcome Host Program
A partnership with J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and RMCVB, the Welcome Host Certification Program utilizes a train-the-trainer concept to educate the Region's travel-industry employees about the highest levels of customer service. The program is best suited for public and private sector front line (public contact) employees who have daily and direct contact with the Region's 5 million annual visitors. The all-day training opportunity is offered quarterly. Graduates of the program attend a graduation ceremony and receive a certificate of completion and lapel pin. For more information, please visit J. Sargeant Reynolds' website or contact Tamera Wilkins at 783-7410 or twilkins@richmondva.org.
