While in the Richmond Region, delegates can receive extra savings with the swipe of a card at no cost to them. With the Richmond Region Rewards Card, a program launched by RMCVB, the Retail Merchants Association and Richmond.com, delegates can take advantage of special offers at the area's most popular attractions, restaurants, hotels and shops. Offers change regularly so be sure to have your delegates check back often for updates. Cards never expire and may be used every time your delegates visit the Region. All delegates will receive complimentary cards as our way of welcoming them to the Region.

RMCVB staff can save you time by:

• Providing a list of local vendors of services and supplies relating to the meetings industry

Area-wide Conventions

Groups that book meetings or conventions in three or more Richmond Region hotels are invited to take advantage of additional RMCVB services:

• A Bureau representative will exhibit at your convention one year before your meeting in the Richmond Region, with 13 months advance notice needed. (Note: additional criteria required)
• Arrange pre-convention and post-convention meetings for groups using a Richmond Region convention facility
• Prepare and distribute to local partners a convention resume detailing convention contacts, hotels and facilities being utilized and arrival/departure patterns
• Assist with ground transportation coordination and schedule preparation
• Assist with local signage
• Staff information desk at your meeting with information specialists
• Restaurant reservation service with RMCVB-partner restaurants

Additional Services

A convention housing service is available for groups using multiple hotels. RMCVB's third-party housing system utilizes the Passkey system and provides all aspects of housing management. As the meeting planner, you can continuously monitor your room-block inventory at all participating hotels online. This allows you to keep tabs on how many people have registered and adjust accordingly. A per-reservation fee applies.
