Getting Around
Motorcoach travel in the Richmond Region is easy. While driving in the Region, it's helpful to remember these tips:
- Right turns are allowed on red unless posted otherwise.
- Left turns on red are allowed from a one-way street onto another one-way street, unless posted otherwise.
- Headlights must be turned on during inclement weather or whenever windshield wipers are used.
- There are many four-way stops in the Region. When two or more
vehicles approach a four-way stop controlled by stop signs, the driver
on the left must yield to the driver on the right.
- Downtown Richmond streets are mostly one way with Broad
Street as an exception. One-way traffic generally alternates with every
other street.
