Gardens & Nature
With its four distinct seasons, the Richmond Region is a garden lovers'
paradise. You won't want to miss springtime in the Region - from the million
tulip blooms at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden to annual Historic Garden Week
when some of the area's most gorgeous homes and gardens are opened for public
tours.
Maymont, a 100-acre Victorian estate is open year-round for visitors to enjoy
the breathtaking gardens and landscapes that took three decades to create.
Agecroft Hall and Virginia House are two early 20th-century homes with gardens
designed by landscape architect Charles Gillette. And don't forget to take
advantage of the Region's thousands of acres of city and county parks.
